Benjamin H. Pomerantz devotes his practice to civil litigation including personal injury and wrongful death claims relating to car accidents and truck crashes, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, pharmaceutical liability, premises liability, products liability, toxic tort and workers' compensation.
Mr. Pomerantz received his law degree from American University Law School in 2007, where he graduated with honors. While in law school, he was a member in the Civil Practice Clinic and the moot court society. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 2004.
Mr. Pomerantz was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2007 and the New York Bar in 2008.
Prior to his position with Casper & de Toledo LLC, Mr. Pomerantz worked for the Connecticut Judicial Branch as a judicial research clerk and for the civil defense firm of Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy & Bach LLP. Mr. Pomerantz has also volunteered his time to Connecticut Legal Services, Inc., where he provides pro bono legal services. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Stamford Youth Foundation.
